Read More…Vicino is a custom RFID reader/writer module that provides NFC and RFID support via an SPI interface.
The board was originally designed for our Museum in a Box project to replace the RC522. In that project it reads and writes RFID stickers for artefacts in a museum's collection. To ease migration from that, and any other, setups using the RC522 board it uses the same mounting hole pattern and 8-pin 0.1" header for the electronic interface. The pin-out isn't identical, but the key power, ground and SPI interface pins are carried across in the same locations.
This board lets you use the powerful ST25R3920B module in all your RFID/NFC projects. We use it with ESP Arduino framework using the NFC_RFAL and ST25R3916 libraries.
It also has a delicious logo that indicates the antenna area.
