The BB-Prince is a small multi-purpose utility for your solderless breadboard. When you build something with a microcontroller (like an AVR or PIC) on a breadboard you usually need to wire up a reset button, some generic indicator leds, a power-on led and maybe a input button.
All of those things are already on this small (2.5x1.5cm / 1x0.6”) PCB ready to just be inserted and used on your breadboard.
There are six pin for hooking it up to your circuits.

The Reset have a 22K pullup and is brought LOW when pressed. This is what the most common microcontrollers expect.
The button have a 22K pulldown and goes HIGH when pressed. This will make the logic in your firmware easier to write and understand. Press=High=1=True.
Led #1 & Led #2 is connected to GND via 330 ohm resistors and lights up when you set the pins high.
There are also a green power led that is lit whenever the power is on.

I’ve had this built on a simple piece of veroboard and used it for a while when building things on my breadboards but I decided that it was time to make it look a bit nicer so I made some PCBs for it.
I sell this as a kit so you’ll have to solder it up yourself but it’s very easy to solder it and it shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes even for someone that's inexperienced in soldering.
As usual I don’t believe in high shipping costs so this is sent worldwide without tracking for less than a dollar.

Depending on what text you read on the PCB, green power LED can be missplaced with a red one. (When in a hurry and do not have time to think for your self).
Make that tiny little instruction paper larger and include schematics.

I've been playing with the ATTiny13 in a breadboard for a little while. The BBPrince makes this play easier by providing a few handy functions that I'd otherwise build myself on the breadboard.
Quick, simple little project, even for someone with medium soldering skills.
The only problem I had was that the power indicator LED was far too bright. I replaced the 330 Ohm R1 resistor with a 10k Ohm, to make the LED bright enough to easily see, and plenty.

The first few boards were sent with clear hi-brightness leds which was far too bright to be comfortable. I've since then changed the kits to include medium bright diffused leds that are much better suited for this.
