MIDI Biodata Sonification Device (DIY-Kit) DIY-Kit of the MIDI Sprout Biodata Sonification device. It was designed by Sam Cusumano and DataGarden did a kickstarter with this little device.
I started building them(and offering DIY kits) because they were always sold out in the official store.
"MIDI Sprout allows creatives to use plants and other living things to control audio and video synthesizers in real time. "
Depending on your selection, following parts will be shipped as surface-mount (SMD) or through-hole (THT):
This kit is RoHS compliant, so please also use lead-free solder to protect our environment (and your health!).
You can easily buy the probe cables & pads from aliexpress/ebay. Look out for "tens electrode". The same is for the battery pack.

Here is a great soldering tutorial for the through-hole version by the creator Sam Cusumano: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbbWzdTiL8w

We recognize our top users by making them a Tindarian. Tindarians have access to secret & unreleased features.
We look for the most active & best members of the Tindie community, and invite them to join. There isn't a selection process or form to fill out. The only way to become a Tindarian is by being a nice & active member of the Tindie community!
By main profession I'm software engineer, but in my free time I've always been tinkering with electronics hardware.
After selling some of my builds here on Tindie, I came up with the idea to launch my own company.
Currently, this is in a very early stage, so I can only sell DIY-Kits right now. I am waiting for the completion of a WEEE-registration to sell finished products.
