The motion sensor board is an extension for the Picoclick-C3 which is based on the LIS3DH accelerometer from STMicroelectronics. It can be connected to the Picoclick with one of these FPC cables and it communicates over I2C.
The interrupt of the sensor is connected to the button line of the Picoclick and thus this extension can be used to activate the Picoclick by firing an interrupt. The interrupt can be configured over I2C. For example, the motion sensor can fire an interrupt on a free fall, on a single or double tap, on a axis-specific motion or on any motion.
There is the option to add an FDM printed case/mount for the sensor coupled with a Picoclick-C3. This mount is the one shown in the Youtube video and is perfect for motion controlled robots and co. (The Picoclick-C3 is shown in one of the pictures, but it is of course not included) If you have a 3D-printer at home you can just print it yourself - the files are on Github and the documentation page. If you wanna connect the motion extension board with the Picoclick for the case/mount you have to cut one of these FPC cables to a length of about 4-5mm.
There are documentations, software examples and schematics available on the documentation page.
