It also functions as an alarm clock which responds to the gradually increasing light levels at dawn triggering a simulation of bird calls to gently wake you.
Dawn Chorus uses all through-hole components and is relatively easy to solder.
The kit requires a 9V PP3 battery (not included). The circuit board sits on top of the battery.
