I couldn't find any cheap and simple panel-mount USB jacks out there, so I made these. They're designed for panel thicknesses of roughly 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm, but will work fine with different thickness panels too, just replace the standoffs with shorter or longer ones as needed. The standoffs have M2.5 threads and each one comes with hex-drive mounting screws. The Type C jack costs a bit more because the components are more expensive and they're also more labor-intensive to assemble. Here are dimensional drawings of the recommended panel cutouts.
