This is a multi button RGB scene controller that fits in a decora faceplate. It's the size and dimensions of a single wall switch. It's powered by 5v DC and has an on-board ESP-12F (esp8266) with a Dallas temperature sensor. It integrates into you Home Assistant home automation system to control scenes. Each button can be assigned actions of a single press up to 5 presses. Each button has a RGB LED behind it and the color, brightness, and status can also be controlled and triggered through home assistant using automations.

The on board temperature sensor returns the current room temperature to Home Assistant as well.

With all the fancy touch scene scene controllers out there, this has built with simplicity in mind.
From this single panel you can turn on on off smart devices (lights/fans/blinds), trigger scenes, and the multicolor leds can be assigned to any color in the RGB spectrum given you simple easy to see notifications.

The switch comes assembled but will require you to wire to 5v DC power, mount in a location you see fit and set-up automations and configuration in Home Asstant. It will also require a decora switch plate cover once mounted.

Tasmota Firmware is installed and can be configured with the following template.

Here is a list of options I have configured on my device

Led #RRGGBB = set hex color value where is the pixel number of the LED. A blank-delimited list of colors sets multiple successive pixels.

SetOption1 1 - turn off multi press to prevent accidental long press reset

SetOption8 1 - Show temperature in (0= Celsius (default) 1 = Fahrenheit)

SetOption73 1 - Detach buttons from relays and send multi-press and hold MQTT messages instead (0 = disable (default) 1 = enable)

SetOption65 1 - Device recovery using fast power cycle detection (0 = enabled (default) 1 = disabled)

This is all mounted in a 3D printed case with a Decora faceplate, a back cover, 3 transparent buttons and a black light blocking midsection to prevent light bleeding through the faceplate.
