LIT Tinker is a wireless controller designed for individually addressable LED strips such as WS2811, WS2812/WS2812B, and NeoPixels. It comes completely assembled (Wemos included!) and enclosed in a plastic project box. No need to solder parts or strip wires. Just plug in either a USB cable or a DC adapter and your LED strip is good to go!
It works with different firmware such as WLED (supports E1.31, MQTT, JSON/HTTP API, Alexa, IR remote, etc), ESPixelStick (supports E1.31, UDP realtime), ESPHome, and Tasmota.
The controller is fully open source: https://github.com/LIT-Controller/LIT-Tinker
When I first started playing with LED strips and pixel controllers, it took me weeks to source parts on Aliexpress, solder them together, and look for an appropriate enclosure so that the assembled controller can be easily mounted onto my wall in a more permanent way. I hope you can get started hacking your LED strips quickly without having to go through all this trouble.
LIT Tinker is designed to be plug-n-play yet at the same time "tinker" friendly :)
The onboard DC jack allows you to power the controller and your LED strip without having to cut and strip your DC adapters, so you can get started quickly.
Many pins are exposed from the Wemos so you can easily customize the controller and repurpose it for other tasks to your liking.
