What is it?

The RaSCSI Slim Case protects your Raspberry Pi 4 and RaSCSI (full size, standard configuration), streamlining your vintage computer setup, and looking completely at-home next to your "Snow White" Apple Macintosh computers (like the Macintosh SE/30). The Raspberry Pi and RaSCSI mount with included standoffs, and rubber feet on the bottom keep the RaSCSI from sliding around. Vents provide passive cooling. The case gives access to the Raspberry Pi 4's Ethernet port (for Ethernet adapter emulation), USB-A ports, USB-C connector for power, and MicroSD card slot.

This is 3D printed using high quality PLA material in a color that is similar to "Snow White". (See pictures for comparison) The unit you will recieve was designed by @PotatoFi, but 3D printed by LandoGriffin with his permission.

The "Slim" case has room for the single DB-25 connector on the RaSCSI, but if you need to add the RaSCSI Expansion Board to the RaSCSI to have two DB-25 connectors, check out the RaSCSI Pro Case (available from PotatoFi).

What makes it special?

• "Snow White" design language, which looks great stacked on an external SuperDrive , with an Apple HD 20SC, or just alongside your Macintosh SE, SE/30, or LC-series machine

• An LED, which can be wired to the RaSCSI to blink during activity

Kit includes:

• Printed top and bottom parts of the case (rubber feet installed)
• Printed clear activity LED lens (removable)
• An LED of your color choice, so you can pick the color that matches your Mac (installation of the activity LED is completely optional, and will require wire, heat shrunk tubing, and ability to solder)
• Standoffs and screws
• Small amount of glue or adhesive*

* Depending upon printing tolerances, you may need a small amount of glue to attach the metal standoffs to the plastic base.

Kit does NOT include a Raspberry Pi or RaSCSI board.

• See photos for LED wire routing. The LED and LED lens can be popped out with a small screwdriver; it's a simple friction fit.
