What is it?

This board can be used as USB interface as well as data logger. It features 4 thermocouple channels using MAX31855 ICs.
The Thermocouples (not included) are connected via screw terminals and can be strain relived using zip ties.
Via a Qwiic/Stemma QT compatible I2C connector up to 8 MCP9808 precision temperature sensors can be connected to add more high precision cannels.
The firmware is open source and can be modified by the user.

Data logger

Standalone data logging requires a micro SD card formatted with FAT16 or FAT32 (not included).
The logging configuration is written as config.txt directly in the root folder of the SD card. A template can be found in the github repository. Pressing the button starts and stops the data logging.
The LED blinks briefly each time, when a new data point is recorded.

USB interface

The sensors can be read using SCPI style commands.
All commands are documented on the github page. A python library for data acquisition and an example how to read the sensors can be found in the project repository on github.
