This breakout board provides RJ-11 jacks for up to 8 Creltek Limit Sensors. Each jack provides power, ground, and signal lines to the sensor along with proper signal termination. Miniature screw terminal blocks provide connections back to your motion control system for each sensor. “Active Low” outputs are compatible with Shapeoko 1 / 2 / 3, gShield, TinyG, Carbide 3D, and more!
Works natively with 3.3V power supplies, and an optional on-board voltage regulator also allows use with 5-18V power supplies.
The latest version of this breakout board (v2.1) provides true open-collector outputs for interfacing directly with motion controller inputs up to 24V. These outputs are "active-low" and capable of sinking over 200mA each, and switchable 4.7k pull-up resistors are included. Special noise-reduction circuitry is also included on the sensor inputs. Because the outputs are a true-open collector design, they can simply be wired directly together to "combine" the signals multiple sensors. This is perfect for motion controllers that may have a limited number of sensor inputs (e.g. 3: x, y, and z), but you would like to use two limit sensors on each axis (e.g. "maximum" and "minimum" travel sensors).
Fully assembled and ready to use, and can even be panel-mounted if desired, for a truly professional installation!
