Description

This is an easy to assemble CPU module with a clock circuit, which is compatible with the RC2014 ecosystem. The CPU can be run with the internal or the bus clock, and the internal clock signal can drive the bus clock signal. The module can be used in systems, running CP/M, SCMonitor or ROMWBW.

The kit is supplied with 20Mhz Oscillator, if you require a different clock speed send me a message I may have the clock in stock.

I did not recieve the 22c80 CPU Module

I recieved instead of the CPU Module a
Z80 SIO Module. I need the CPU Module
to progress on my project.

That was my fault, I mistakenly shipped the wrong kit and I am sorry for that. When informed a new kit was sent ASAP.

Very good product from Karl.
It didn't cause any problems to assemble.
Documentation was OK again.

I'm still waiting for various components to build a new, fast Z80 Saytem on Basic rc2014.

20 MHz, who needs that whopping speed?

I already have a 4 and 7 MHz module. And a homemade slow clock module for anything between 0 and 1000 Hz. But 20 MHz, that's also something I want to experiment with! Building was a breeze thanks to the nicely designed PCB. No need for a manual (but one is supplied anyway).

I stil have some learning and improvement to do: when using it with my Arduino-based Bus Monitor (and even when not using the 20 MHz clock), the OLED screen of my Bus Monitor (https://gitlab.com/z80a/arduino-z80-bus-monitor) went bezerk. As if tries to update it to often. Well, I'll look into it later.
