Flickerstrip is an addressable LED strip (WS2812s) and controller that allows you to easily upload animated patterns to it over WiFi. The Flickerstrip app lets you toggle strips, configure settings, and upload new patterns from your smartphone or computer. You can browse through dozens of unique patterns that other users have uploaded to the Lightwork repository and choose your favorites to upload to your strips. Furthermore, you can create your own patterns using the lightwork designer, a simple, intuitive, and graphical interface that makes creating a new pattern easy. More advanced users can import and export patterns using external image editing tools.
Unlike the existing solutions, Flickerstrip provides individual control over each pixel and doesn't require any electronics or programming knowledge to get started. The motivation of Flickerstrip was to allow anyone to start playing with neopixel addressable lighting without having to spend time learning how to set up or program an Arduino microcontroller.
The wireless connectivity and easy setup makes Flickerstrip ideal to get started right away creating beautiful, animated light art.
