Pic24xx development board is a small board that can host the Microchip 24fjxx series of processors and others. The board features the ICSP connector which can connect to a PicKit3 programmer/debugger. Also has an onboard 3V3 voltage regulator. USB Host connector, all Chip pins on the edge connector and also an IDC plug for power input.
While developing a prototype I needed to have a USB host feature to have a USB memory stick logging, the PIC24 can be loaded with the relevant software to do this. I also wanted to develop some projects with this pic24 so a development board is handy to have.
The pic24 development board has the following features:
hosts the 28 pin PIC24FJXX series in DIL format processor for easy mounting
ICSP connector for use with MPLAB IDE and PICKit 3 or similar programmers
USB connector so you can develop Host functionality with USB input;
Has a power IDC ribbon cable - Power Input +12v
Onboard Regulator supplying 3.3v to PIC
Feedthrough power -12/+12, +5V, 3.3V and ground to your development project
All PIC24 pins on the edge connector
OnBoard PTC fuse Protection and decoupling capacitors onboard.
I have now included options, Processor, and a basic parts kit.
Supplied as a Bare PCB with mounting instructions
