CraftBeerPi Hat

This is a Hat specially designed to be used with CraftBeerPi. It allows you to automate your brewing and fermentation setup. For easier software side setup you may also use my CraftBeerPi Firmware.

Features

• Slots for up to 5 MAX31865 modules for up to 5 PT100/PT1000 measurement channels
• RTC for the Raspberry Pi with backup battery
• OneWire interface for additional sensors
• Space for a SparkFun QWIIC connector for even more sensors, actors, displays etc.
• 12V-24V operation voltage
• Reverse voltage protection (but please still be careful)
• Raspberry Pi is powered from operation voltage (no additional power supply needed)
• Up to 3 Amps for the Raspberry Pi
• 7 digital PWM capable digital output channels
• Every channel has a flyback diode to safely drive inductive loads like solenoids
• Every channel has its own resettable fuses limiting the output current to ~1.1 Amps
• Additional protective circuitry to protect the Raspberry Pi from faulty loads
