IDAP-Link

The IDAP-Link is a very low cost CMSIS-DAP JTAG debug probe with enhanced features. It can do more than just debugging. It will appears as a USB disk drive. This allows firmware flashing easily by copying the firmware file over without requiring any special flashing software and work instantly with any operating system. It provides a UART to USB bridge for communication between the target device and the PC. It also provides a regulated 3.3V to directly power the target device without addition power source by taking advantage of the USB power source. These features turn the target device into mBed enabled. It can be used as an ultra low cost solution to production programming.

Gang programming with IDAP-Link

There are many way production gang programming can be accomplished using the multiple IDAP-Link.

• Via USB by connecting multiple IDAP-Link to PC through an USB hub. 2 Ways to program
• 1 - Use PC software for parallel programming (currently avail for nRF51 & nRF52 series MCU)
• 2 - Drag & Drop file into the IDAP_FLASH drive of each IDAP-Link that shows up on the PC
• Via microSD, put the firmware on a microSD card, insert it in the IDAP-Link, press program button
