I needed a smaller matrix for my PixelIt display

What makes it special?

Small size, works with any ws2812 led matrix driver.

What you will get?

A fully assembled 8x8 Led RGB Matrix

Specs

• requires 5V Power supply
• 3Pin VCC -> DIN -> GND on input and VCC -> DOUT -> GND on output
• Compatile with any WS2812 Controller

For the fastled Neomatrix Arduino library use following setting:

matrix = new FastLED_NeoMatrix(leds, 32, 8, NEO_MATRIX_TOP + NEO_MATRIX_LEFT + NEO_MATRIX_COLUMNS + NEO_MATRIX_ZIGZAG);

Warning

The matrix is very bright and gets hot at high brightness, it is recommended to use brightness values that are below 50% of max brightness.
