What is it?

Very small PCB ready made to drive any type of addressable LED strips or strands. It can be ordered with or without WemosD1 Mini microcontroller (if ordered with it comes with WLED firmware preloaded and tested)

Why did you make it?

Provide a robust solution to be able to drive in a stable manner any type of addressable LEDs, GPIOs are setup to be perfectly compatible with WLED firmware but the board can be used with any firwmare that allowd GPIOs configuration (Tasmota, ESPHome, ESPEasy, etc.)

What makes it special?

The board has all features to avoid any issues that may show if addressable LEDs are driven directly by ESP8266. Below all it's features:

Module can be powered by 5VDC or 12VDC power supply in order to provide wider compatibility
Data signals are boosted from 3.3V to 5V with LLC in order to have better stability of the signal
You can add a temperature sensor on the PCB (compatible with DS18B20)
You can connect an external push button to operate with the LED (WLED compatible)
Module can be ordered with or without Wemos D1 Mini (if you have it already you can save money!)
VCC output is protected via replaceble fuse with proper holder, to avoid damage in case of overcurrent
Suitable capacitors to smooth the power output and avoid color glitches or LED malfunction
Compatible with any LED type that requires 1 pin (DATA only) o 2 pins (CLOCK+DATA)
Unused GPIOs are available on the PCB for future expansions or to add extra features
