What is it? A very slim SD card adapter for Teensy that leaves all surrounding pins easily accessible. Why did you make it? I needed a micro SD adapter that wasn't larger than the Teensy's dimensions…

What is it?

A very slim SD card adapter for Teensy that leaves all surrounding pins easily accessible.

Why did you make it?

I needed a micro SD adapter that wasn't larger than the Teensy's dimensions and added minimum height. The cutout has been designed to allow reset even when the card is inserted.

What makes it special?

Adds only a little over 2mm to the overall Teensy height and is unobtrusive to surrounding pins. Fully compatible with the TinyTracker GPS/GSM/CAN for Teensy 3.1/3.2 and 10DOF MPU9250+MS5637 sensor addon for Teensy. When combined, the 10DOF sensors and GPS can send information via GSM and/or save data to the micro SD to be sent later as a batch. Many solutions are possible in a tiny package full of features.

Tested with Teensy 3.1, 3.2 and 4.0, very likely to work with 3.0, LC. Micro SD card not included.

Nice and clean

Works very well with Teensy3.2. I use it to read and write files to sd card with the SdFat library (https://github.com/greiman/SdFat).

Really fit the bill -- and the Teensy!

I just finished soldering this little gem on my Teensy 3.2 and am delighted: it worked great with both the libraries I tried (standard SD library and SDfat library). It doesn't even seem necessary for me to rate Documentation or Communication, because (1) the image on the seller's page was adequate to show me how to connect it, and a quick google search on TEENSY SD CARD was all I needed to do to get up and running; (2) the unit arrived quickly from the Czech Republic with no need to contact the seller. So, perfect scores all around.
Plus, at $8 apiece, this is the best bargain I've ever seen!

Well built! Fits exactly on my Teensy 3.2! Will be buying mo

This is a really nifty add-on for the Teensy. Well built, sturdy, Definitely in keeping with the extremely small size philosophy of those who work with Teensy-related products. I plan on buying more, when I get onto the next project.

I didn't want to rate the documentation, as none provided. There is a very nice discussion of this in Paul S's Teensy Wiki pages, which is all I needed.
