What is it?
This is a small digital dice keychain - a practical accessory for game nights and decisions on the go.
With a simple press of a button, the digital dice is activated and displays random number after it has been shuffled.
The golden imprint “Alea Iacta Est” (Latin for “The die is cast”) adds a touch of history and style to this practical gadget.
Why did you make it?
The moment I saw "ALEA IACTA EST" somewhere, it just came into my mind. Also, it was my first project which had the important goal to make the battery as long-living as possible.
What makes it special?
It consists of 3 PCB's which are sticked together and then filled with white epoxy resin the get a good look for the dice' eyes. The PCB's have a beautiful black silk screen with ENIG finish for the magnificent golden look.
