What is included in the kit? The DP-1010 Mic Preamp Kit consists of the XLR.IO Board, Preamp Board, pre-assembled PGA Module, pre-assembled DRV Module, Logic Board, OLED Display, Switches, Microprocessor Board and all parts and components. Since this is a DIY kit, some assembly is required. Please note - A power supply is not included in the kit and is a separate purchase, or use your own.
What are the power supply requirements? The kit requires the following voltages: +16V, -16V and +48V for the phantom power. You can use the FiveFish PSU-2448Plus+ kit with a 30VA Power Transformer. It will have enough power and some spare to power two (2) channels.
I am not the DIY type or don't feel confident building this myself. Can you build it for me? Absolutely! We can assemble and build this kit for you for a small additional labor charge. Please select the assembled option from the drop down at the top of the page when adding the product to your cart.
Is there a step-by-step assembly guide to help me build this preamp? Yes! Here are the assembly guide in PDF format for building the XLR Board, Preamp Board, and Logic Board kit modules. NOTE: The MCU Module, PGA Module and DRV Module are provided to you already assembled and tested... just plug it in!
