The IP voltmeter is a versatile instrument designed for measuring DC voltage and current within a local network or via the internet. It is particularly useful for assessing battery levels in solar systems and other battery-powered devices.
This device is equipped with three DC voltmeters and one DC ammeter, and each input (voltmeter and ammeter) is entirely independent, allowing for the connection of different devices to the board. Additionally, all inputs are galvanically separated from the board, making it possible to measure voltage in various configurations, including a source with a common ground or three completely independent sources.
Apart from its fundamental features, the IP voltmeter also comes with advanced functions such as alerts, data transmission to the cloud (ThingSpeak), or remote databases.
In order to measure current, a current probe is utilized which is connected to the circuit being measured. This probe operates based on the Hall effect and is completely isolated from the board electrically. The voltage output of the probe ranges from 0 to 5V, and is measured by an IP voltmeter. The current value is then calculated from this voltage measurement.
Voltmeter speed measurement : 2 times/sec
Ammeter measurig range : 0 - 20 A DC ( both polarity +/-)
Data can be read in different ways. Via web browser, TCP client, SNMP client, reading XML file.
Data can also be read via SNMP protocol. The device contains an SNMP agent v2...
The TCP/IP voltmeter contains a TCP server that listens on port 9760. It is possible to read the measured data using a TCP client.
Data can be sent to the Thingspeak.com cloud. ThingSpeak is an cloud service that allows you to store, visualize and analyze your measured data.
TCP voltmeter contains a TCP client that can send data to a remote database using the POST method.
The device allows you to send an alert if the value of any voltage reaches a certain set value.
The TCP voltmeter can have a dynamic IP address or a static IP address. The dynamic IP address is obtained from the DHCP server, the static address can be configure in Network Settings manually.
the board supports well-known DNS services : noip.com , dyndns.com.
