Read More…PCB for an Arduino based USB temperature and humidity monitor based around a Arduino Pro Micro 5v and AM2302 sensor. It has an i2c OLED display and outputs temperature and humidity readings via the usb serial port.
Wanted a cheap and easy way to track the environment in my makeshift server closet.
I was unable to find a simple device that would both display the temperature and output it for logging purposes. This is a very simple circuit and pretty easy build. It takes about $20 in parts and is open source so it could be customized to many usages. More information and the design collateral is referenced on the Hackaday.io page and github repos.
My case design stls are included in the hardware git linked below. A .stp file for the pcb+components is also included if you want to design your own enclosure.
