DroidReflow - PID based reflow oven controller that can be controlled with the rotary encoder and display or via Bluetooth using Android Smartphone or Tablet. Unlike many other designs available this controller is using a triac to switch AC mains supply on and off. Once a triac is activated (latched) it will stay latched on until the AC sine wave crosses zero again. The benefit of this design is that you don't need to modify your oven and the controller can be installed as an external unit outside of the oven.
K type thermocouple should be connected to MAX31855K ADC which linked to the processor using SPI protocol.
DroidReflow can be controlled from Smartphone or Tablet via Bluetooth or alternatively by using rotary encoder and a Nokia 5110 LCD.

Why choose halogen? Lots reasons put together really. Toaster ovens aren’t as common in the UK as they are in the USA, halogen ovens are very common and low cost. Halogen ovens heat up faster than toaster ovens and that’s important for the ramp-up stage of the reflow profile. Halogen ovens have amazing visibility. Not only is the whole thing glass but there’s that extremely bright halogen lamp as well. This controller will also work with conventional Toaster oven. You should choose your oven so it does not draw more the 8 amps max. I have chosen 1400 W oven for my work.

The Android app and the firmware on the board have preprogrammed profiles to reflow Leaded and Lead free solder.
