Don't worry! Newly redesigned (improved) breakout boards to replace these will launch soon, starting with 32p and 28p
These offer a new take on breakout boards for SMD devices by breaking the pins out to groups of 2 or 3 holes each, instead of the single hole provided on typical breakout boards. This, combined with the exposed and accessible ground trace around the perimeter, allows some supporting components to be included right on the breakout board without interfering with connections to other parts of your project.
These prototyping breakout boards are available in three versions, corresponding to 20-pin, 28-pin, and 32-pin quad flat packages. QFN and VQFN packages often have an exposed pad on the underside (typically connected to ground) - for these packages, an exposed pad is provided, tied to the mounting holes and exposed trace along the perimeter. While QFN and VQFN are never fun to solder by hand, these quality breakout boards will help you use use parts in these packages effectively for prototypes and one-off projects, without having to make a custom PCB for your project - or being charged so much for a breakout board that you might as well made your own PCB.
TQFP-32/QFN-32 - Two-pack of boards supporting either TQFP-32 or 0.65 mm pitch QFN-32
QFN-28/VQFN-32 - Two-pack of boards supporting either QFN-28 ( 0.65mm pitch) or VQFN-28 ( 0.45mm pitch). Shown in the picture is a board with an ATtiny88-MU (QFN package) mounted along with supporting components.
QFN-20/VQFN-20 - Three-pack of boards supporting either QFN-20 ( 0.65mm pitch) or VQFN-20 ( 0.5mm pitch - aka MLF-20). Board shown in picture has ATtiny1634-MU (MLF-20 package) mounted along with supporting components including external crystal. Discounted version available: Due to a typographical error, the silkscreen on these boards incorrectly identifies them as QFN/VQFN-25. A new version of these boards with corrected silkscreen and better panelization is now available, so the old ones are available (while supplies last) at special 2-for-1 pricing!
Similar breakout boards for other exotic SMD footprints including 0.5mm pitch DFN/MSOP-16, 0.65mm pitch DFN/MSOP/WSON-16 with and without exposed pads, VQFN-16, 4mm x 5mm rectangular QFN-28, and TSSOP-28 with exposed pad

International orders have been suffering long delays due to COVID-19 - please check your country at https://about.usps.com/newsroom/service-alerts/international/ and make sure that I can ship to you, and that you are okay with any delays. There may be additional information available from your national postal service. Some customers have reported packages being delayed in transit by over a month. We cannot offer any sort of guarantees regarding international shipments at this time; we apologize for the inconvenience, and are looking into shipping internationally through UPS.
Please be sure that the address given to Tindie is accurate, and includes your street name and number - company name is only required if shipping to a commercial address. International orders require a valid phone number.
Domestic packages that go more than 1 week without a tracking update will be presumed lost in the mail and refunded or reshipped as buyer prefers. Any international packages can be delayed in customs without warning for 2 weeks or more. After 1 month without a tracking event (2 months to South and Central America - insane delays in those nations are commonplace), we will reship or refund a missing order (as you prefer). COVID-19 update: Some countries have stopped processing incoming international mail entirely -we will cancel orders to countries which we know are not processing international mail at all. This may also cause longer than usual shipping times - we are not responsible for such delays.
We do not open inquiries through the postal service - experience has shown this to be futile.
We ship all orders via USPS. UPS will be added as an option in the near future, I hope. We do all shipping through Stamps.com, and they offer me UPS, but all addresses are rejected as invalid, and I have emailed support numerous times and have had zero response. So at present, we cannot entertain requests to ship through other carriers.
