It is an Arduino based GSM phone with DIY styled interfacing between Arduino Mega, GSM, OLED Display and Keypad. GSM modem requires a separate DC power supply (not included) with at least 2 Amps of current. Arduino Mega 2560 can be turned on by connecting a mico-USB cable to a personal computer or a 5V battery charger.
GSM included is SIM900 whose GPRS is class 10: max. 85.6 kbps. GSM requires a SIM card to connect to GSM network. It supports 850,900,1800,1900 MHz frequencies by networks where 2G is supported (please make sure the SIM and GSM provider has 2G support). IMEI number can be displayed on the display by pressing special command (refer to the operational manual).
It is a fully functional phone for incoming and outgoing calls and SMS service on a 3G network. An SMS message can be entered through a keypad and sent. A Menu is shown on an OLED display. IoT integration to MQTT, ThingsSpeak and Blynk Servers can be configured. Calls logs and received SMS messages can be uploaded to IoT Cloud over GPRS.
It comes preassembled and preprogrammed. I have written an operational manual that will be included. The device is ready to connect to the cloud of your choice (MQTT Mosquito, ThingsSpeak and Blynk) and the procedure is mentioned in the user manual.
