Do these come with the volume control nut to secure it?
Feb. 6, 2014, 12:59 p.m.
I have the nuts that come with the volume control however I typically don't ship them since the lids won't close if the nut is in place. I use high quality 3M double stick foam tape to mount the PCBs down and it is very difficult to get them loose.

In the pictures provided, you guys use a red 1/8 cable (male/male) for sound distribution from device to amp. What cable is that? (i presume it is not included in this package). Thank you

Do you ship to canada?

Power supply options - I see a 9V battery. What are the acceptable input voltage ranges, and could an external power connector be installed? - or would noise be a problem? Shipping to Canad - do you use US Postal Services or a commercial shipping company?

Hey, thanks for the question you can go up to 18v DC for the input, Most DC supplies to create a small amount of noise however if you use a decent one it shouldn't be bad. On the low side once you get down to 6.5v or less the performance will be reduced so i'd recommend using 9-18v DC. Something as simple as this
Good instructions at this tutorial
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Not much more to say, other than the seller shipped it quickly. Switch is high quality and inputs are well secured.
It as made travel and listening to music/watching movies on flights much better. Clarity for music without excessive volume. Recommend!

I had wanted to make my own CMOY Headphone Amp, but when I started shopping around I saw that the cost for parts and shipping were going to cost more than a completely assembled unit.
I love that there are options for which tin is used, and the workmanship is way better than mine would have been.
I seems to work fine, but I've only used it for a voice-only project. Looking forward to testing it further, but I would recommend this without reservation.

I received my fully assembled CMOY Headphone Amp promptly. Beautiful build in a simple enclosure. The input and output jacks are not labeled, so folks should make themselves acquainted with the amp layout before using it for the first time (there are photographs at the site that are informative).
I am using mine to drive a set of Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro 250 ohm phones. Great product and at a great price. Recommended.

I thought I ordered a kit and was surprised when it came fully assembled. Wow, pretty cheap for a hand wired unit. It sounds quite good with my iPod classic playing from the line out.
My only wish is that the led was on the outside. But, no biggy.
