This is a beefy 4-layer DC to DC step down power supply that can take 4-20 volts input and outputs 5v with 3a max current carrying to the load.

Integrated inductor power supply modules are the future as there are less parts needed to complete a design. This is a low emi device that could be GREAT for E-bike peripherals (lights, phone chargers), Drone & robot BEC's (battery eliminators), and bench power supply testing.

Could also be used a power supply breakout board/battery hat to power small microcontrollers and I even used one to power a Linux som that draws 2 AMPS!! You will find that the cheap power modules on the market can struggle with 2A loads, this module has no issue powering small single board computers and microcontrollers.

The TI integrated inductor power module meets EN55011 Class B Radiated EMI Standards and with a 12 volt input 5 volt output can achieve close to 95% efficiency.

Large outer layer 2-oz copper planes take up most of the board with 1-oz inner copper layers. The pinout sheet can be found in the pictures.
