Read More…This is an updated version of my IV-11 clock. Now it no longer needs backup batteries but has a built-in supercapacitor to keep the time for over an hour if the power goes out. This VFD Vacuum Fluorescent clock can display time in either 12 or 24 hour format. It is similar to my popular IV-6 tube clock but uses the much larger IV-11 tubes. The 2nd picture shows it next to the IV-6 clock so that you can compare the size. It's more expensive because the IV-11 tubes cost much more than the IV-6. Uses vintage tubes from the 80's and 90's that I purchase from Ukraine and domestic sellers. Also has blue LED's under the tubes to give a cool effect. The LED's can be switched off if desired. The clock is white and the base measures 5.5x3.25 inches or 140mmx80mm and the tubes are about 2 inches tall. Includes a white 5 volt usb power supply with 6 foot white cord to complement the clock. Especially looks really cool in the dark. This clock was designed and made by me.
