What is it?

This is a Powerful and Compact Switched Mode Power Supply for Eurorack Synths.

• It's powerful: it can deliver 1.25 Amps per channel (2.5 Amps total).
• It's small: only 4HP Wide and depth is 50mm (add some mm for wires on the back).
• It's also lightweight, there's no cumbersome transformer. Perfect for your small skiff.
• It's cool: almost no heat dissipation.

How to use?

Place your Power Module in any 3U row, power it with a generic DC Power brick (18 to 36 Volts, 2 Amps, laptop style). The output is located on 2 Screw Terminal Blocks. They allow easy connection to any Bus Board. Connect each corresponding rail ( +12, 0 and -12 Volts) to your bus boards.

What makes it special?

High quality power supply The Power Module uses two high quality MeanWell DC-DC Switched Mode Converters. They ensure excellent filtering and high power without heat dissipation. They support a wide range input voltage from 18 up to 36 volts. Any spare laptop power supply with a 2.5mm DC jack connector, center positive, will fit.

Improved security Output rails are completely isolated from the input. The input is also protected with a fuse and a TVS Diode(1). Thus, the module is protected against reverse connection and surge voltage on input side.

(1) TVS Diode: The Transient-voltage-suppression diode is an electronic component used to protect electronics from voltage spikes induced on connected wires.
