Addon board for the K40 laser that adds safety and comfort features such as door interlocks, relays for coolant pump, nozzle air blower ...

The hardware will be shipped as kit and needs to be assembled. All components & PCB included.

Purpose

The chinese K40 Laser often used by makers lacks of several mandatory safety and comfort features. The user can easily open the doors while cutting and the laser does not stop to emit the radiation. Also there is no safety feature to shut it down in case the coolant flow is inetrrupted or the coolant temperature gets too high. Also some comfort features are missing, like automatic switching of the exhaust fan. This project solves most of the drawbacks of the K40 lasercutter.
