This is a remix and shameless knockoff of Benchoff's Shitty Add-On developer's platform. It is a bear PCB for you to populate. He said something about not calling it SAO (maybe because of his love for Sward Art Online?) so I put that all over it for giggles. This hat wires up your I2C, VCC and GND to a couple SAO headers (not included) that are too close to be useful at the same time. Then you add a couple buttons and an LED for good measure and experimentation.
Why did you make it?
I figured I could order 3 purple boards, or for the same price a bunch of shitty ones in some color they called red or blue and share them with all of you. I want to see more SAOs at defcon this year, because #badgelife is lonely and strange and more strange people in the loneliness is better.
What makes it special?
It is "red" or "blue" and says SAO in exposed tin. Seriously... oh, and it says #un1eet on it. I guess it is also good that I converted it to KiCad, so feel free to knock-off my hat as well!
