With this board it is possible to make timelapses with your GoPro on your Prusa printer, without any cables or alterations to your 3D Printer (uses the Raspi GPIO on the Einsy Board).
It frustrated me that making time lapses with the Prusa printers where chaotic, due to the moving heatbed. Prusa wrote a tutorial how to fix this, by adding some lines to your Gcode in the slicer. But you would still need a camera with an external trigger input, or your smartphone (and an expensive bluetooth board) making you phone less for hours.
Why not do it with a GoPro I have lying around somewhere, was my thought. And so it began....
No need for any cables. The PCB plugs in directly to the Einsy board, and uses WiFi to communicate with your GoPro :)! Super easy WiFi setup in a few clicks via a computer or laptop (only once needed).
Works with all Prusa 3D printer versions that have the option for Raspi incorporation. Works with all versions of GoPro 4 and higher.
For installation please check out the provided manual, which explains how to pair your GoPro and can be downloaded at the bottom of this page (DATASHEET). A STL file is provided for printing a bracket on the Einsy Enclosure (use is optional).
