New BoM due to component shortages. Mayor change is the isolator IC and the inductor.
KNX is an open home and building automation standard. This makes the protocol very interesting as it ensures interoperability between devices from different manufacturers. It also avoids vendor lock-in as is the case with many other home automation systems. Some software projects such as KNXD and Calimero Server, make it possible to communicate on a KNX bus from a PC. They can be used on a standard desktop PC, but more interestingly also on SBCs such as the Raspberry Pi. This makes it possible to make a small Embedded Linux system which operates in a KNX system. Combining OpenHAB and KNXD makes it possible to control your KNX system from anywhere in the house from your phone or even the web browser on your PC.
This board makes it easy to interface the Raspberry Pi with the KNX bus. It works out of the box with the KNXD software and OpenHAB. Instructions on how this all works can be found on Hackaday. Both hardware and software are completely open source.
