SMD Solder Paste - Lead Free - Low Temp - Water Soluble Flux
After reflow soldering you can simply clean your modules with water. This water based flux can easily be washed away. No need for any solvents, alcohol etc.
Solder paste with a high Bismuth content have a very low melting point, that makes it go very easy on your components. In the industrial world this type solder paste is mainly used for LED applications, but you can use it for your general electronics too.
This SMD solder paste has a water soluble flux system. The flux residue after reflow soldering can be easily washed off with water. You can even put your soldered modules into your dish washer! But check the datasheet of the components if they can be washed. Some switches, relays and other mechanical parts should not be washed (some are waterproof though). Cleaning is easier if the soldering wasn't too long ago. Water soluble flux is a bit more aggressive then conventional RMA flux and should be cleaned since it's slightly corrosive. The no-Pb paste has a low melting point of only 338°F (170°C), you can use it similar to leaded paste. You need to dispenser to press the paste from the cartridge - or a putty knife to get the paste onto your stencil.
