The Kludge deck board mimics the layout of the StoRPer main board and has all the cutouts to allow access to main board features. The standoff mounts match the main board and there are lots of additional holes that you can use to mount mechanical additions. There are also 3 electronics prototyping areas made up of non connected through hole pads on a 2.54mm pitch. These are if ciurse useful for all manner of electronic additions. There are also 4 smaller rows of pads in the center of the board and each of these rows has a trace connecting the pads so they can be used for power rails etc.
The Bumper board has a connector for an HCSR04 ultrasonic module which is connected back, via some resistors to the header footprint to connect to the main board. In the project repository (linked below) you can find an example which sets up the HCSR04 module and measures distance using micropython. Also on the bumper board there are two pairs of M2 holes to which you can mount a momentary press switch. I've used Omron ss5gl switches, but the spacing of the mountholes (9.5mm between centres) is common to many different micro switches. You can wire the switches into some pads broken out on the Bumper PCB and then you could use these switches, possibly with soldered/glued on wire "whiskers" as obstacle bump switches for your StoRPer build. The Bumpers can be mounted in a variety of ways above and below the main board, you may need to make custom standoffs depending on how you use these boards so in the repo there is a FreeCAD file which you can use to print custom length cylinders to act as slip on standoffs over M3 bolts.
Note that this product is just the two bare PCB boards, there are no other components included.
See the video for more details about these boards.
