The RadSens 2 is an universal module dosimeter-radiometer based on the tried and tested gas-discharge Geiger-Muller counter SBM 20. SMB20 tube included in delivery set. Dosimetr board supports different gas-discharge Geiger-Muller counters (like J305,M4011, STS-5 or others). The logic of the RadSens is based on the STM32 microcontroller. The data received from the Geiger counter is transmitted via the I2C interface. The device supports changing in the I2C address and turning off the high voltage generator (400V) to reduce power consumption. Fine-tuning of the counter sensitivity is supported.

The radiation sensor based on RadSens board can work both in standalone mode and as part of an external Arduino, STM, Raspberry microcontroller or as part of your own device. 4. Build-in led
Measuring background radiation in a standalone mode represents the radiation level by flashing the LED. With an increase in radiation, the blinking frequency will increase proportionally and vice versa.
5. Easy counter mount and unmount any counter
Tube (Geiger-Muller counter) could be mount on a special holders or soldered directly through holes in the board
6. Board support different counters
Supported Geiger-Muller counters: any with anode voltage 380 – 440 volts. Including but not limited to SBM20, J305,M4011, STS-5. Geiger-Muller counter not included in delivery set.
