What is it?

Really high-quality Galvanically output 10Mhz Distribution amplifier board for Lab Instrument reference distribution, can be used with any Lab instruments GPSDO, OCXO or Rubidium reference.

Why did you make it?

I wanted to make GPSDO with TruePosition GPSDO. So I decided to make distribution board with Galvanically Isolated 4x 10Mhz outputs. This is completely open source project more details can be found on circuitvalley com . PCB source , Schematic , Bill of material, can also be found on github.

What makes it special?

Distribution board expects 10Mhz input , then passes through 10Mhz LC Filter to clean up signal. then goes through AD8009. Which drive Coilcraft Transformer to have Galvanically isolated outputs. Analog devices AD8009 allows really clean 10dBm output into 50Ohm load. Images are attached to show output performance. Input connector can be BNC, with MCX or MMCX or SMA or SMB, Board has 4 Isolated BNC output on front while 2 more Isolated outputs can be installed to have max number output to be 6.

Board also have Microchip PIC18F25K50 functioning as transparent USB to serial converter to control GPSDO. Firmware for microcontroller is open source can be found on my github or on my website. Microcontroller functions independent for 10Mhz amplifier.

Board expects minimum 12V with Max 1A for its 78M10 Linear regulator. Max input voltage is limited to 16V by 3.3V regulator Microcontroller , If not need Regulator for MCU can be removed for sake of having higher input voltages at power input.

Listing is for board only nothing else. You can put board into Hammond case as shown in image Part number "Hammond 1455N1201". Enclosure is not included in this listing.
