This is the volume knob you are looking for...

Small, unobtrusive volume control with smooth ramping and the ability to mute/unmute by pressing the knob down. There is a dim orange led in the translucent body which confirms clicks and volume ramping, which is a nice touch. Very convenient. Worked out of the box on Windows. Nothing negative I can think of. Quick delivery too!
