This r5 prototype design is on the flea market due to excessive heat dissipation at 12V, and distortion at 9V. Later revisions will include room for a heatsink or two.
1.5W Class-A Stereo Amplifier. Just enough to fill a small room with sound.
Input: 9V 3A
I discovered through a transistor kit that a BD139 was enough to drive a 4 ohm speaker with sound. I've always been fascinated with amplifiers though, since I built a TDA1517 kit.
Simplicity makes sound special.
