What is it?

The E3S1P Breakout Board is a toolhead adapter board for the Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro. It breaks out the stock ribbon cable into individual JST XH and Picoblade connectors, making it much easier to install custom extruders, hotends, fans, and sensors — perfect for modders looking to clean up or customize their wiring.

> ⚠️ Note: I do not personally own an Ender 3 S1 Pro, so documentation and support are limited. That’s why I’m offering these boards at a low price — they’re intended for advanced users who are comfortable figuring out installation on their own without any manual. > 🔄 Important: Creality has reportedly changed connector polarity in different batches — please double-check before powering anything!

Why did you make it?

When a friend’s original breakout board failed, I decided to help by designing a more rugged and flexible version. Inspired by NathanBuildsRobots' Modder Board, this version maintains the same core functionality, but features a new layout that hopefully improves wire routing and durability. It’s a simple, robust solution for anyone upgrading the toolhead on an Ender 3 S1 Pro.

What you'll need

• A 3D-printed backplate, available for free on Printables
• Basic wiring knowledge and access to a multimeter (recommended for polarity checking)
• Tools for disassembling the extruder
