The venerable, low-cost ATtiny2313 is a great choice for simpler projects. You get ATmega speed, a great ADC, and either SPI, I2C or Serial. The ATtiny4313 has twice the flash and RAM.
Programming and prototyping with an ATtiny4313 couldn't be easier with this breakout board. Filtering capacitors, reset + pull-up, and ISP header are included. An external 16MHz crystal is optional. And you can even buy an ATtiny4313 to go with the board.
- Works with ATtiny2313, ATtiny4313
- Program with Arduino IDE using Arduino-Tiny
- Include a 16MHz crystal and caps (default option)
- Add an ATtiny4313 to your order
- Small design saves space
- Compact AVRISP connector for easy programming
- Perfect for breadboarding
- 0.1uF and 10uF (or larger) filtering capacitors pre-soldered
- All 20 pins exposed for breadboarding
- Reset switch and pull-up resistor included
Maybe you need to add power, too.

Good quality board, nice layout. I only wish the pads for the chip socket were a little larger. Also, rounded corners would be nice. It was a perfect no-jumper target board for programming a few ATTiny2313V's. I'd recommend this to anyone.

If it were big enough to make the crystal an option. Many people use the Tiny's with the internal oscillator. This board makes the oscillator mandatory. This ties up two pins that might be otherwise be I/O and for my use relegates it to a programmer board for programming devices and recovering others that were programmed for a crystal oscillator. Not one of my favorite X313 breakout boards. Good quality though, Very Good Quality. The same high level of quality as the 84 board.
