This is a bare unpopulated PCB only. The parts are not included and must be purchased separately.
This device is current to voltage converter for precise ultra-low current consumption measurement. It is suitable for measuring wireless IoT devices' consumption with fast Run/Sleep mode switching. More information could be found on Dave's product webpage.
The boards are priced to cover manufacturing and shipping costs, for those who are facing distribution issues, and want to make the devices themselves.
The parts alone (enclosure excluded) cost around $ 36 US per device at Digikey, excluding P&P. Partial cart can be copied here by DigiKey users. The original enclosure is available from Australia only. The alternative is to 3D print or CNC mill an enclosure with the same mounting holes (PDF) at around 40 by 69 mm distance between centers.
Since shipping options from Australia to EU are expensive and alternative distributor's web was defunct, I decided to use Dave's Open Source Gerber design files and build the whole device instead.
Please be aware that the boards are NOT gold plated as the original ones. These boards' surfaces are plated using ROHS compatible HAL process. Therefore the uncovered copper, including the text "GOLD" and measurement contacts are actually covered with lead-free alloy instead. Nevertheless, compared to the gold plated PCBs, these are expected to work as well as the original one for at least ten years.
