It's Halloween and time for a new badge! This one is rather cute than scary. The 12 LEDs are animated and on a button press different modes can be selected. A buzzer on the back supports the thrill with some sounds.
The kit has to be soldered by hand and includes some 0603 SMD parts. A fine soldering iron tip, tweezers and some soldering flux are recommended. The micro controller comes pre-programmed so only half an hour of soldering is needed to get the horror started! The CR2032 battery can't be included due to international shipping regulations.
There are a few imperfections on this first version that's why it's $5 off. But it works perfectly fine. Check out the video for further details
