What is it?

This is the connecting piece required to design your own addon boards for the Flipper Zero in a unique backpack-style formfactor!

Breaking out all GPIO of the Flipper it allows you to create your own designs for it, as well as adapting existing dev boards to this new formfactor.

The backpack style allows your design to neatly fit in your pocket on top of the Flipper.

Check out the Github repo for a full explanation, source files, build guide, as well as a collection of other designs in the same formfactor! The repo also includes printable case options as well as a FreeCAD project for creating your own cases.

This listing only includes the top connecting piece PCB and nothing else. (White PCB as shown in the first picture) It is only listed so you don't have to manufacture the top piece yourself when designing a backpack addon. You do NOT need to buy this if you are buying the other backpacks. All pictures with black PCBs showcase possible use cases as examples.

Soldering is obiously required to assemble the two boards at a right angle as seen in the build guide.

The entire project is designed with open source tools, allowing further modification and forking of the project. All source files are published in the Github repo using FreeCAD as well as KiCad.

The Flipper Zero is an amazing tool to work with and develop for, and this board makes it easy to create permanent designs that fit nicely onto the Flipper.
