I have added the option of upgrading the body material to a Multi-Jet Fusion material. This material has a pleasing granite gray finish and appears to be more durable than my home-printed bodies. There is no functional advantage I know of.
I have added the option to upgrade the hot end with a volcano heater block and nozzle. Note: If you choose this upgrade you will not get a spare nozzle as I do not currently stock any spare Volcano nozzles. Be sure not to choose a spare nozzle if you choose the Volcano upgrade.
This replacement Hot End Cartridge allows you to use the highly-rated E3D V6 or Lite6 hot end in your da Vinci 1.0 Pro (or Pro 3-in-1) printer without having to modify your printer's hardware.
This updated version uses a new circuit board that allows the hot end to be mounted higher in the drop-in cartridge. This means that the nozzle does not stick down as low as in my previous design. This, in turn, means there is only a minor adjustment needed to the print bed height in order to use this drop-in cartridge.

If you primarily print PLA or PLA based filaments I recommend choosing the E3D Lite6 hot end. This will give you more control over retraction settings for a better print. With the E3D V6 hot end I find I need to keep retractions low (under 3mm) to prevent clogging -- this can lead to a fair amount of post-print clean-up.
I hand assemble these cartridges and run test prints in my own printer before shipping to ensure they are working properly.
Summary of changes from previous version:
Higher hot end placement requiring less print bed height adjustment
Surface-mount components on circuit board
LED on the circuit board to indicate when heating circuit is active.
Improved filament guide/sensor
Fuse on heater circuit that may protect printer's main controller board in event of heater short circuit.
