The Breadboard Accomplice is a complete breadboard power solution. Standard selectable voltages of 3.3V and 5V are available via a selector switch, as well as +15V and -15V. This gives the ability to power fully bipolar analog circuitry on a breadboard all from a single 5V micro USB power source without the need for expensive bulky lab supplies. Most recently I found it most useful for some conditioning amplifiers for an ADC which required a bipolar supply. All outputs are low noise.
In addition to the power supply aspect of the device, it is also equipped with a Silabs CP2102N USB-UART Bridge, this means as well as being able to power analog circuitry, you can also communicate to a PC. A six pin breakout is given with all relevant UART pins: +3.3V/5V, TX, RX, DTR, CTS, GND. This means it can be used to program microcontrollers such as a breadboard mounted ATMEGA328P for example.

The design includes such protection features as a PTC resettable fuse and TVS diodes for the USB lines. The bipolar output makes use of the very feature rich LTC3260 which includes a charge pump as well as dual bipolar LDOs. Power to the LTC3260 is supplied via a boost converter which boosts the incoming 5V up to 15.5V.
I designed this device because I was tired of having to drag out three separate power supplies whenever I wanted to work with both digital and bipolar analog circuitry on a breadboard at the same time.
This device is unique in that it's the first breadboard power supply I've seen that includes a bipolar 15V output for use with analog circuitry on a breadboard.
All parts used are of the highest quality, as well as an attractive matte black PCB. Headers come unsoldered. Lead free RoHS compliant.
