The SBM-20 is a robust, reliable, and compact Geiger tube produced in the USSR during the Cold War. It's reasonably sensitive for its size, giving me about 20 counts per minute background radiation (in London, UK). It is a drop-in replacement for the earlier STS-5 tube, being almost identical in size with a wider range of operating tolerances.
These tubes are unboxed and some have picked up scuffs or minor dents in the 30 years since they were made, but all of them are tested and guaranteed fully working. Shipped from the UK.
Supplied with data sheets in English and Russian. I can also give pointers to Geiger counter circuits that work well with this tube.
