This bracket provides mounting for 2 or 3 HC-SR04 Ultrasonic sensors. They are intended for mounting on the corners of robots, with one sensor on each side and a third at 45 degrees to provide full coverage. They are designed to integrate with my OctosonarX2 but can be used with other systems also. Optionally comes with 20mm standoffs for easy mounting.
Existing bracket options involve tiny screws and/or fragile plastic, and tend to be more expensive than the sensors. I needed a better solution, and this simple PCB meets my needs.
It is simple, compact, and provides more rigidity than most.
Note: between the prototype and the batch build I moved the diagonal sensor back 0.2" so it would not protrude beyond the robot footprint. Shoulda been 0.1". Luckily the HC-SR04 pins are long enough to be re-bent to stretch there without the diagonal sensor conflicting with the rectilinear ones. See the rear picture.

I've been building and fixing things all my life and in my day job I build datacenter installations and watch over thousands of Linux servers. For fun I make things like old British motorcycles, Daleks and random electronics. I've invented some things along the way that I needed and weren't available (or I was too cheap to buy), and I'll be sharing some of these items in my Tindie store.
