The MidiFoot is a USB MIDI controller with a single button. It sends hold pedal (CC#64) messages on MIDI channel 15, but with a rotating sequence of values with each press and release that allow you to use it as a sustain pedal, toggle switch, or even to play 4-, 8-, or 16-note patterns by mapping these messages in your sound module or DAW. It uses an ATTiny85 (a tiny Arduino) to emulate a class-compliant USB MIDI device using the V-USB library, so it’s inexpensive and doesn’t need any drivers installed to work on most computers. You can buy one fully assembled, or as a kit that you can install in your own pedal or enclosure. The kit includes the parts shown in the image above, and listed in the assembly instructions found at the "Documentation" link below.
The values the MidiFoot sends on controller #64, channel 15 are (in order):
70, 0, 100, 30, 85, 15, 115, 45, 75, 5, 105, 35, 80, 10, 110, 40
